This Mesa Fire Safe MFS100C/MFS100E has a 2-hour fire rating that was tested in temperatures up to 1830°F. The impact rating was done immediately after the heating test and was dropped from a height of 30 feet and then re-heated for another 45 minutes. It has a battery-operated electronic lock that is protected by an internal spring-loaded re-locking device.

Other security features of this safe include the following:

• 1” diameter massive live locking bolts
• Steel dead bolts preventing door removal during a forced entry attempt
• Bolt detent prevents damage to body and bolt-work caused by accidental door closure with extended bolts
• Manager function allows you to add/remove users
• Electronic lock holds up to 5 codes
• Exterior key lock allows you to lock the handle disabling user entry into the safe
• Interior key locking drawer for extra security
